The following interactive guide contains in-depth information and resources on false solutions to our climate crisis, consisting of everything from academic papers to newspaper articles to informational videos and other multimedia. When referencing the term “false solutions”, we are referring to fuels and energy generation sources marketed by investors, the fossil fuel industries, and corporate utilities with the promise of mitigating climate change and pollution. In reality, these pose significant threats to communities and the environment, distract from just and clean energy solutions, and stand to greatly profit the fossil fuel industry. The guide is hosted on Prezi, a visual communications tool which acts as a “choose-your-own-adventure” slide deck. We recommend hitting the “diagonal arrows” button to make the Prezi full screen for better readability.
If you are using the mobile site, view the Prezi here.
If you’d like a tutorial on how to navigate the above Prezi, a short video guide will be available here soon. Scroll down to find an archive of the resources that contributed to the information in the Prezi, grouped by topic and subtopic. See resources in Spanish at the bottom of the page.
